is taste just another word for knowledge?

you know the guy who buys a gold bulgari or rolex.does he do this because he has any knowledge about watches? i think not! does that mean he has no taste? be honest yes! it does not matter what we discuss,cars watches clothes etc.taste like knowledge is only learnt with time.we all remember how silly we looked when young,because we wore clothes that looked stupid on us.but that was fashion at that time.people today buy armani-gucci-sand-cartier etc etc.they think this will at least give them somthing in common with their heroes rock star-actor.not knowing that the real rich in this world would not be seen dead in any of these brand names.let me say straight away,i do not in anyway look down on the guy i meet wearing a gold gucci.but if he asked me what i thought about about it,i would tell him the truth as i see it.i have read about rock music since i was 5 years old.i love music,and i know a lot about it.i am sixty years old my taste in music is from hendriks-clash-rage against the machine-zepplin-dad-sandmen-audio slave-miles davis-mozart -tool-etc.but not maddona-cliff-britney-abba etc,these people are products and crap.anything they have done will be forgotten in time.they are bad taste for people who know nothing about music.watches are the same some will be rememberd,most of them forgotten.willy the angry
