No doubt its a classic watch and superb handwork . I would never call it a sports watch , it is just to flimsy for that . I would say it is a robust everyday watch that doubles as a dress watch .

I would not call it beautiful . But the Gerald Genta design is unique and you cannot mistake it for anything else . And that is a rare thing today Willy
