Cartier have in my opinion always been one of the greatest finishers anywhere.Their workmanship is nearly without peer.As watchmakers they do not have a great history like PP-VC etc etc.They always scourced their calibers out of house ie. JLC.But today they can be called a manufacturer.They are making really good and sophisticated watches in house.I like a lot of their designs and would consider buying one.Beauty is the word that best describes cartier. The Tank is of course a classic and i think that used a JLC caliber.Correct me if i am wrong. Willy
