AP ROO Diver erfaringer?

I do not think many people take the Off Shore seriously as a tool or dive watch.Compairing it to the Deep Sea is a joke.Rolex develop dive watches that are far in advance of anything AP have ever built.AP make high end watches where you pay a lot of money for the refined finish of the case and the caliber.They are just two completly different types of watches.I do not see the point of the Off Shore for me it is not a dress watch or a diver it is more a design watch like a Gucci just made better.AP made their name by making elegant and beautiful watches and some of the worlds greatest complications.They have always been renowned for the finish they give to their watches.The polishing art on any AP is far ahead of most Brands including Rolex or IWC.And you pay for it.I think most people who own a watch like a AP-PP-Lange etc etc realise that what they have on their wrist is more a piece of art than a tool or dive watch.The Rolex DS case most probably cost more to develop than AP sell watches for in a year.And i seriously doubt there is a stronger mechanical caliber made than a Rolex.Two different Brands making two completly different types of watches.Did you know the name Royal Oak is taken from a English Warship and the Gerald Genta Design owes a lot to the port holes on a ship.The original RO is a ikon in the watch world and a everyday dress watch.The Off Shore is just a big Royal Oak that rich sailors wear when they are sponsered by AP.
