This brand name has been associated with jewelery since 1884 and have built a reputation that compairs with Cartier . And like Cartier decided to go into the watch making business . They started to make watches much later than Cartier . Their first collection in 1977 with the famed Bvigari-Bvlgari signature was a success . At this time most of their watches were equiped with GP calibers . Being a world famous company with huge financial clout they decided to make their own calibers . They achieved this very quickly by buying other manufactures like Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth . Today they make everything from great complications to simple reliable calibers . Their case finishing is superb their design is unique and they have a following in the watch world . They do not hold their prices very well but they have progressed from being a fashion watch maker to a serious watch building company in a very short time . But everything this company does is always of a very high standard like Cartier . I quite like many of their watches but the ones i want cost a fortune. Willy

Jeg havde næsten glemt, at vi har et Bvlgari i huset. Min kone bruger denne Diagono, som hun selv har anskaffet, til sportsbrug. Det solide ETA-værk holder tilsyneladende både til golf og tennis. Det gør aluminiumshuset også. Glimrende hverdagsur!
