Kavalkade -Constellation

Jeg har som sagt skrevet til artiklens forfatter et par gange nu og har nu fået svar hvor det bekræftes at skiven på min Constellation er korrekt og original. Det var rart. Den må så samtidig betragtes som særdeles sjælden og som sådan ikke så ringe at have i samlingen!

I had a look at Joseph´s archive and some of the black dialled Connies are
not original, nor do some of them have correct hands (Theres one that has
rhodium hands and gold markers!). But, for sure, your dial is definitely
original.

In respect to your dial, the fonts on both the upper case script below the
applied Omega symbol are exact and the Constellation fonts and style of
script is also exact.

I have no hesitation in saying your dial is correct. I believe a
variation of black dial must have been produced for Constellations with
rhodium plated markers and hands. Genuine black dials are rare to start
with, and probably there were more gold script with gold markers and hands
dials produced than black dials with rhodium hands and markers. So your
watch and dial is very uncommon.

Having confirmed in my mind that your dial is correct, I will write
another post on black dials so this new information comes into the light
