Yes and remember 99% of watch people will tell you to buy a watch with box & papers if you can . You save absolutly nothing by buying a modern watch without B&P , because you will get less when you sell it again . All you are doing is making the watch hard to sell again . Our good friend who gives this advice forgets to tell people this when he gives his advice .
Of course if you never intend to sell the watch again , you could do this . But whats the point when you can always find a watch with B&P . With vintage watches it is not so important with B&P .
You do not have to believe me . Just ask any watch dealer what is best . Believe me they do not like watches without B&P . It is okay to give advice when you give both sides of the story . But it is lousy advice when all you give is your own opinion , that is the opposite of real watch experts . Willy
PS. Remember also that unoriginal and stolen watches often come without B&P . Another little point our friend forgot to tell you
